My fist day at school was exciting and a little scary
My first day at a private college was both exciting and a little frightening because everything was new to me. Not only was it my first time attending this college, but I was also still new in the area. I did not know many people and I was not familiar with the surroundings, so I felt nervous when I arrived.
When I got to the college, I noticed that the campus was bigger than I expected. There were many students walking around, talking with their friends and finding their classrooms. At first I felt shy and unsure of where to go, but the staff members were helpful and guided new students to the correct classes.
Being new in the area also made the experience different for me. I was still learning the streets, transport routes, and nearby places such as shops and restaurants. Everything felt unfamiliar, but at the same time it was interesting to explore a new environment and see different people and cultures.
During the day I slowly started to feel more comfortable. I introduced myself to a few classmates and we spoke about our courses and where we came from. This helped me realize that many students were also new and trying to adjust just like me.
Although my first day was a little stressful, it was also a positive experience. It marked the beginning of a new journey in my education and my life in a new area. I believe that as time goes on, I will become more confident, make new friends, and feel more at home at the college and in the community around it.
