    • The Learning Unit

Your module is grouped into learning units.

These learning units group certain ideas, concepts and learning areas together into topics to help you make sense of your module as a whole.

Each learning unit section will have the same information you can access:

      1. A short summary of the learning unit
      2. Learning outcomes that should be achieved when you complete this learning unit
      3. A glossary of terms applicable to that learning unit
      4. Your prescribed and recommended readings for this learning unit
      5. The knowledge check section
      6. Icons and what they mean

    • This is a glossary resource.

You can click on this icon to see terms and definitions based on the specific learning unit you are accessing.

    • Icons and what they mean

Throughout each topic that will be covered in a learning unit, various activities and resources will be made available to you.

Each activity and resource type is meant to enhance, engage, build and test your progress throughout each topic.

These resource types are grouped into 5 categories:

      Icon
      Meaning

Resources and instructions under this icon must be accessed before starting topic activities start.

Activities and resources placed under this icon are normally completed in sequence as you engage with this topic.

Activities and resources placed under this icon are additional normally completed after the topic.

LIFT activities and resources may appear in some of your topic sections. These will form part of your topic activities and structure.

Knowledge checks and or ICE activities are meant to be completed at the end of a topic to gauge how learning has been internalised.

    • This is an example of what content pages might look like.

These types of resources are meant to provide you with a focused, summarised view of content.

    • This is a board activity. You will be required to provide short answers or feedback under each section as directed.

    • This activity is an example of a forum, where you can make posts and reply to posts.

Each forum is unique and may or may not be graded.

Post a short reply on what your experience has been so far with this module, and what you would like to learn about next. To add a post, click on the "add a discussion topic" button to start your post.
