Now that your here, lets provide you with a quick summary of resources and activity types that you might encounter during your topical content.

Board A space to share ideas by posting in different categories. Add your thoughts to the correct category and respond to classmates if required. 
Book / E-book An e-book to read online A digital version of a traditional book, formatted as an electronic file to be read on devices like computers, tablets, and smartphones.
Choice A quick poll or single-choice question. Pick one option carefully—your choice may be final.
Database A shared collection of student submissions (text, images, files, etc.). Add your entry using the template. Comment on another entry if required.
External Tool A link to activities or websites outside MyNGI. Click the link, complete the task on the other platform, then return to MyNGI.
Feedback A survey where you give feedback. Answer honestly. Your responses help improve the course.
File A single downloadable file provided by your lecturer. Open or download the file and use it as instructed.
Folder A collection of multiple files grouped together. Open the folder and download the resources you need.
Forum A discussion space for class topics. Post your response, read others’ posts, and reply to at least two classmates.
Glossary A shared dictionary or resource list. Browse or ddd a new term or definition and check what others have added.
H5P (Interactive Content) Interactive activities—videos, quizzes, slides, games, etc. Open the activity, complete every section, and click Submit/Finish.

Lesson A guided learning path with content pages and questions. Move through the pages in order, answer questions, and click next to continue.
Page A simple webpage created by your lecturer. Read the page and check any videos, images, or links included.
Quiz A graded or ungraded test with different types of questions. Complete all questions within the time limit. You may get more than one attempt.
URL A link to a website outside Moodle. Click the link, complete the task or reading, and return to MyNGI.
Workshop A peer-assessment activity. Submit your work, then review your classmates’ work using the criteria given.
Journal A space to reflect or answer prompts continuously.

Post your response in text, audio, or video. Read your lecturer’s feedback and update your journal as needed.
